We are calm, respectful and careful (even the dog).
We will take care of your home as if it were our own.
(And yes, we’re pretty handy too.)
the great JOURNEY of Maison Sans Souci
200 km as the crow fliesWhile some families decide to travel around the world, we chose a slightly more… reasonable adventure: moving to the Netherlands for one year.
We are looking for a place to live in the Netherlands for one year.
Starting in August 2026 — and maybe you can help us...

Whereto?
The Netherlands… but not just anywhere
For a few years now, we’ve been making little trips across the country
for weekends and work.
So we already have a few cities in mind where we could imagine living...
Our current top 3:
The Hague - Haarlem - Amsterdam.
(But nothing is set in stone.)
Eating herring
Going everywhere by bike
Swimming all year round
Skatingon the pier
That said, we also like being surprised. Life sometimes has different plans for the great adventurers that we are... And maybe you also have a surprise for us: a housing opportunity in another lovely city? We’re open to all kinds of great opportunities.
FYI — At the same time, we are renting out our beloved house in Belgium. It is located in Ixelles, in one of Brussels’ nicest neighbourhoods, only 300m from the European Parliament.

An idea? A suggestion?
Do you have a house or apartment for rent? Maybe you know someone — or someone who knows someone — living in The Hague, Haarlem, etc. with a place that could suit us? Or maybe you simply want to send encouragement, useful tips, or share a similar experience...
